They are breeding in the uk.
They are a beautiful bird of prey with their markings of chestnut red, dark brown, white, and long yellow legs.
They are 46 to 76cm in length.
They have a wingspan of 100 to 120cm
They weigh in at between 700 and 1020g
The female is usually 40 percent bigger than the male.
They live for up to 15 years in the wild and up to 33 in captivity.
